• Joe Biden won the US election and made him the 46th US president starting January 2021.

Biden received 279 Electoral College votes while Trump only received 214.

• Over 50 million cases of Covid-19 confirmed worldwide, Europe has the highest number.

Last Fridy France and Italy reported 60,000 and close to 40,000 new cases respectively, and both countries are taking steps to lock down hotspot areas.

• DHL expects freight volume to increase by more than 50% compared to last year.

• China's exports surged in October

China’s export growth has jumped to its highest level. With a year-on-year growth of 11.4% in October, the strongest growth rate since March 2019. In comparison, the growth rate in September was 9.9%. During the Covid-19 global pandemic, China’s exports remained resilient to a large extent, because the strong demand for medical supplies and the decline in production capacity in other regions benefited China.

• Can frozen food packaging spread Covid-19?

During the random inspection of frozen food imported from abroad, Tianjin City found that a batch of imported frozen pork packaging tested positive. In addition, a 38-year-old man working at the loading dock of Tianjin Frozen Food Company was also tested positive for coronavirus. He processed a batch of German frozen pork a few days ago.
