Tesla's Semi Truck electric semi-trailer truck finally ushered in the first batch of deliveries on December 2, five years after it announced its entry into the field of smart trucks.

During the five years that Semi Truck has repeatedly bounced tickets, the field of smart heavy trucks and more subdivided unmanned trucks has become a new world. A group of technology companies have cooperated with OEMs, and unmanned collection trucks have been offline one after another. They have achieved commercial landing in domestic and foreign ports. Outer Hong Kong is also conducting L4 unmanned driving tests for trunk logistics.

At the delivery ceremony, SemiTruck demonstrated its superior performance. Driven by three motors, it only takes 5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour (about 96.6 kilometers per hour) when it is unloaded. It takes 20 seconds to travel 500 miles (approximately 804.67 kilometers) with a full load, and 400 miles (approximately 643.74 kilometers) after 30 minutes of fast charging. In addition, SemiTruck has an ultra-low energy consumption level of less than 2kWh, and the cost of charging per mile is 2.5 times lower than the cost of refueling. Based on this, it is estimated that it can save US$20,000 in fuel costs within three years.

Sea Freight in Shenzhen:

Qingdao

The American line rate is consistently dropping, and warehouse is still full. Even with the current situation, the drivers of the shipping company are still required to provide a proof of PCR within 48 hours. Furthermore, the drivers need to use an app to make a reservation before going to the LCL warehouses.

Shanghai

Air Freight: This week, the US freight rate continued to rise slightly compared with last week.

The rate to Africa this week remains unchanged. But the space is tight, and the pallets have already been reserved for next Wednesday

As the shipping company reduces the number of liner voyages, YML spaces need to be booked in advance.

Tianjin

Air freight:

The volume of goods has not increased significantly this week, and the price has basically maintained. 

Due to the reduction or adjustment of the first flight of the airline company, the cabin needs to be reserved.

Seafreight:

Tianjin port has cooperated with the port in Hebei. On November 29, the Tianjin Municipal Transportation Commission announced the "Three-Year Implementation Plan for Supplementing and Strengthening the Chain of Shijiazhuang National Comprehensive Freight Hub in Tianjin (2022-2024)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan").

Tianjin, Hebei Province and Shijiazhuang will focus on sea-rail public transportation, land-air transportation, and build a comprehensive cargo hub system with "four ports leading and multi-polar linkage". The "four ports" are Tianjin International Hub Seaport, Tianjin International Air Cargo Hub, Shijiazhuang International Land Port,

Shijiazhuang Airport, "multi-pole" is an important railway freight station.

Qingdao

Vietnam
