Last-Mile Delivery is the stage of transportation where goods are delivered from a distribution center or warehouse to the customer at the last stop. This stage is usually the last link in the entire supply chain, and it is also one of the most critical. With the rise of online shopping and the development of global logistics, the last mile has become increasingly important. Traditionally, logistics companies have used trucks, vans or motorcycles to make deliveries. However, there are some problems with these traditional delivery methods, such as traffic congestion, parking problems and uncertain delivery times.

The challenge of last mile delivery is not only present in B2C (business-to-consumer) deliveries, but it is also a huge pain point for B2B (business-to-business) deliveries. This is because B2B deliveries typically face more complexity and demands than B2C deliveries. B2B companies face a number of challenges in last mile delivery, such as 1. Highly personalized needs: B2B deliveries usually need to be customized according to the specific requirements of different customers, including delivery time and method, packaging requirements, etc. This makes B2B deliveries more difficult. This makes B2B delivery more challenging and requires more communication and coordination. 2. Diversified delivery locations: B2B delivery usually needs to deliver goods to different locations, including offices, factories, retailers and so on. Logistics companies need to have a flexible distribution network and the ability to transport goods efficiently according to the needs of different locations. 3. Large and Heavy Goods: Compared to B2C deliveries, B2B deliveries usually involve large and heavy goods, such as mechanical installations, industrial components, and so on. Transportation companies need to have the appropriate installations and resources to handle these goods and ensure safe and on-time delivery. 4. Stringent Safety and Compliance Requirements: Many B2B industries have stringent safety and compliance requirements, e.g. medical devices, chemicals, etc. Logistics companies have to be strict in the transportation process. Logistics companies have to strictly comply with relevant regulations and standards during transportation to ensure the safety and legality of the goods.

B2B deliveries involve multiple supply chain participants, and in order to meet customer demand, international logistics companies need to continuously improve their logistics capabilities, transportation efficiency and services. Today's smart tracking systems utilize drivers' smartphones to access GPS and traffic data, ensuring real-time visibility of the fleet, rather than relying on drivers to predict ETA in transit, and supported by cloud-connected application technology that lets dispatchers and customers know where drivers are without the need for additional hardware. Ensure smooth delivery of goods to their destinations and ensure a coordinated supply chain.
