As the shipping industry, which accounts for 3% of the world's total carbon emissions, is naturally the focus of attention at COP27. According to the official website of the Federal Maritime Commission, the Green Shipping Challenge was launched on November 7 by Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and US President Biden's climate special envoy John Kerry during the COP27 World Leaders Summit.
